Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Awards Grants to Two Local Nonprofits in Montgomery County, KY Area

MOUNT STERLING, KY – Saint Joseph Mount Sterling has awarded more than $35,000 in grant funding to the DuBois Community Center and the Gateway Regional Arts Center to improve the well-being and health equity of the Montgomery County area. The funding will be used for the 2024 calendar year.

Cincinnati, Ohio Man Sentenced to 126 Months for Trafficking LSD

COVINGTON, Ky. – The U.S. Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Kentucky reports that a Cincinnati man, Kyle A. Vanderpool, 36, was sentenced on Thursday, to 126 months in federal prison, by U.S. District Judge David Bunning, for possession with the intent to distribute 10 grams or more of LSD.

New Report Exposes Threats to Kentucky’s Electricity Supply

FRANKFORT, KY – A new report by Quanta Technology, “Ensuring Reliability: A Case Study of the PJM Power Grid,” examines risks to the reliability of the PJM power grid. PJM is an independent system operator that manages the flow of electricity across all or parts of 13 states and the District of Columbia, including part of Kentucky. The report was prepared for America’s Power, a member of Dependable Power First Kentucky.
