FRANKFORT, KY – Attorney General Daniel Cameron has announced that actions by his office resulted in the indictment of Gavin Perkins, 44, of Louisville, for murder. On June 21, 2023, a Jefferson County Grand Jury indicted Perkins for one count of murder.

FRANKFORT, KY — Kentucky State Police (KSP) Commercial Vehicle Enforcement will participate in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Operation SafeDRIVE (Distracted Reckless Impaired Visibility Enforcement) from June 20-22. This enforcement campaign targets unsafe driving behavior that often leads to crashes involving passenger cars and commercial vehicles. It complements national efforts to educate all drivers on safely sharing roads with large trucks.
