LONDON, KY (January 3, 2022) - Laurel Sheriff John Root is reporting that: The Laurel County Sheriff's Office, deputies, detectives and staff had a busy, active year in 2021. There was a total of 18, 772 calls for service. This total reflects the effectiveness of your deputies on patrol, consistent law enforcement, cooperation between first responder agencies, and citizen support resulting in a significant decrease in crime throughout Laurel County.

TROUTDALE, OR (January 3, 2022) - The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Team (VCT) has completed a preliminary investigation into the fatal pedestrian crash that occurred in Troutdale on Thursday, December 30, 2021.
