MANCHESTER, KY (December 17, 2021) — Faster broadband will be available to more than 8,500 Clay County residents from Kinetic by Windstream by the end of January.  As part of a $2 billion, multi-year initiative to dramatically expand gigabit internet service across its 18-state footprint, Kinetic is deploying fiber to bring blazing fast internet to homes and businesses in Clay County.

SANDY HOOK, KY – The Kentucky State Police is reporting that on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 KSP, Post 8, Morehead, detectives arrested Randell Nichols, 63 years of age from Olive Hill, KY.

LANE COUNTY, OR (December 17, 2021) - The Oregon State Police is reporting that on Friday, December 17, 2021 an arrest was made in connection with a Sunday, May 30, 2021 motor vehicle crash on Highway 58 near milepost 27 that resulted in a triple fatality. 

SOMERSET, KY - Pulaski County Sheriff Greg Speck is reporting that on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at approximately 8:38 PM, Deputy Tan Hudson and other officers responded to the Dollar General in Ferguson about a person driving a red truck stealing a money bag from another vehicle in the parking lot. Before the officers got on scene a Dodge flatbed truck was in the parking lot with the red truck.

LONDON, KY (December 16, 2021) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Justin Taylor along with Deputy Landry Collett arrested Stanley W. Roberts age 41 of Sunny Brooke Road, Heidrick, KY early Thursday morning December 16, 2021 at approximately 2:33 AM.
