LONDON, KY (January 14, 2022) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9/shift Sgt. Gary Mehler along with Major Chuck Johnson, Detective Allen Turner, Deputy Travis Napier, and Deputy Brian France arrested two individuals at a residence off Willow Branch Road, approximately 3 miles north of London on Thursday afternoon January 13, 2022 at approximately 3:00 PM.

FRANKFORT, KY – A Lost Creek, Ky., man, Kevin Combs, 32, was sentenced to 105 months in federal prison on Tuesday, before U.S. District Judge Gregory Van Tatenhove, after pleading guilty to cultivating more than 50 marijuana plants and brandishing a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime.
