LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Kentucky State Senator Albert Robinson is assisting the state Attorney General's office in the distribution of hand sanitizers, wipes, and masks to be given to first responders along the I-75 corridor.
These sanitizer items were recently seized from individuals who had improperly bought large quantities of the items in Kentucky and Tennessee and have now been given to the Laurel County Sheriff's office and other first responders along the I-75 corridor on Friday March 20, 2020.
Individual sanitizer items will be given to each patrol deputy at the Laurel County Sheriff's office who routinely answer emergency calls for assistance.
In addition, the items will be distributed to other first responders who routinely answer emergency service calls in Laurel County.
