FREE!! - Clay County Cruisers 2016 Halloween Bash & Cruzin' - October, 30

Manchester, Ky. - A record crowd is expected for the 2016 Clay County Cruisers FREE Halloween Bash. The event will take place on Sunday afternoon October 30, 2016 at Rawlings/Stinson Park in Manchester, Ky. and will feature music, games, candy and costume contests. Both children and adults are welcome to participate in this special Halloween Cruzin’ in the Park. 

Current members renewing their Clay County Cruisers membership for 2017 and all new members will, for the first time ever be issued an official Clay County Cruisers membership card (left) with special benefits now being offered by several businesses in the form of discounts available exclusively for Clay County Cruisers cardholders.

Sponsored by the City of Manchester, Memorial Hospital Foundation, Manchester McDonalds and the Clay County Fiscal Court.

This event offers attendees an ideal opportunity to view antique cars, hotrods, trucks, and the Fall foliage in Rawlings/Stinson Park and the River Walk.

Clay County Cruisers Jack Roberts and Vernon Lunsford, stated: "The 2016 Halloween Bash is set for 1:00 Sunday afternoon October 30, its always the best show of the year and the last scheduled event of the season."

“The Cruisers Halloween Bash attracts families throughout Clay and surrounding counties and states each year with safe, family fun, and Halloween festivities,” said Roberts. Community fellowship and good, clean fun. - That's what we stand for!"

“In addition to all the cool cars and trucks on display, this is always a very special affair for children as well as grownups,” said Lunsford.

The FREE Cruzin' and Halloween Bash will feature hotrods, food, entertainment and activities for children. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes to both children and adults, entertainment will be provided by "Gary’s Sound Machine" with DJs Gary and Diane England.  Prizes will also be awarded by the by Cruisers for additional contests.

"Cruzin' in the Park" is hosted each month, May through October, at Rawlings/Stinson Park in Manchester, Kentucky. This beautiful venue offers tourists an opportunity to discover Manchester's unique Rawlings/Stinson Park located along scenic Goose Creek.

The park features a walking track, a stage for outdoor concerts, playgrounds, a wedding gazebo, Clay County Veterans Memorial, large shelter houses with grills, a concrete boat ramp and a shaded walking trail along the beautiful river that connects the park to the Goose Creek Swinging Bridge, Riverside Park and Goose Creek Salt Works.

Cruzins' are also hosted at Huddle House each Thursday throughout the summer. Thousands of dollars benefit the local economy each year from tourism activities promoted by the Clay County Cruisers.
