Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Gary Mehler arrested Logan Tincher age 20 of Chaney Ridge Rd., London on Monday afternoon November 14, 2016 at approximately 4:23 PM.
The arrest occurred off North Laurel Rd., approximately 1 mile north London after Deputy Mehler was dispatched to a complaint of a subject passed out in a red car there.
When Deputy Mehler arrived at the scene and located the red Chrysler 200 series he found the driver passed out with the engine running.
Deputy Mehler conducted an investigation on the driver determining that he was under the influence. This subject admitted taking three oxycodone tablets and admitted he was in no shape to and should not have been driving.
Deputy Mehler found this subject in possession of a marijuana pipe along with a glass and metal container containing marijuana residue. In addition, a red straw with a white powdery substance was also located.
Logan Tincher was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
