More Pot Seized, More Arrests in Laurel County as LSO continues Marijuana Investigation

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: the Laurel Sheriff's office arrested three additional individuals after an ongoing continuing investigation by the Sheriff’s Office as a result of an investigation and arrest this past weekend involving a 16-year-old male Laurel County juvenile.

The arrests occurred off Taylor Subdivision Road, approximately 7 miles South of London on Monday afternoon October 22, 2018 at approximately 1:45 PM.

Laurel Sheriff’s detectives located two male subjects in a black colored Infinity and one female subject at a residence and found all in possession of a large quantity of marijuana including processed marijuana, and marijuana oil.

Those arrested were identified as:

  • Joshua C. Brown Age 25 of Taylor Subdivision Rd., London charged with trafficking in marijuana – more than 8 ounces  but under 5 pounds –1st offense.
  • Harmony Vaughn age 20 of Taylor Subdivision Rd., London charged with trafficking in marijuana – 8 ounces or more but under 5 pounds – first offense.
  • Austin May age 20 of Mount Moriah Rd., London charged with trafficking in marijuana more than 8 ounces but under 5 pounds – first offense.
  • These three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
