Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Bryon Lawson along with Detective James Sizemore arrested three individuals on Wednesday morning January 9, 2019 at approximately 10:22 AM.
The arrests occurred off Highway 770 approximately 10 miles south of London after Laurel Sheriff’s detectives and the London office of the DEA developed information on a large amount of crystal meth headed into Laurel County.
Investigators intercepted the individuals off Highway 770 conducting a traffic stop on a 2004 Cadillac Escalade and discovered over 2 pounds of crystal methamphetamine.
The three individuals arrested were identified as:
All three arrested individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Also assisting on the investigation and arrests were: Laurel County Sheriff John Root, Major Chuck Johnson, Capt. Kevin Berry, Lieut. Robbie Grimes, Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Sgt. Brett Reeves, Detective John Wright, Detective Kyle Gray, Deputy Landry Collett, Deputy Jake Miller and his K-9 “ Gotcha”, Deputy Jamie Etherton, Detective Brad Mitchell. Also assisting was the London office of the Drug Enforcement Agency ( DEA).
