Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root along with Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Detective Bryon Lawson, Detective James Sizemore, Detective Kyle Gray, Detective John Wright, Capt. Kevin Berry, Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Allen Turner, Deputy Joey Robinson, Deputy Taylor McDaniel, Deputy Jake Miller and his K-9 “Gotcha” arrested four individuals off West Laurel Rd., approximately 6 miles west of London on Monday night January 14, 2019 at approximately 8:28 PM.
The arrests occurred following a drug investigation conducted by the Laurel County Sheriff’s office and a search warrant was executed at Lena Venise Cornett’s residence and four individuals were located in the residence and in vehicles located at the residence there along with methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia including a glass pipe, a large sum of US currency. Also a 13-year-old male juvenile resides at the residence – social services was called to the scene. The arrested individuals were identified as:
