Manchester, KY (March 20, 2019) - ClayCoNews is reporting that: On Wednesday afternoon March 20, 2019 CCN staff traveling north on the four lane into Manchester came upon both northbound lanes at a standstill.
Once traffic started to move, it appeared that the delay was caused by what seemed to be a traffic stop or a possible collision in the left northbound lane on South US 421 just before the East Manchester Bridge (2nd Sreet Bridge).
ClayCoNews was unable to confirm the actual cause at the time this report was published.
When contacted by ClayCoNews the Sheriff's Department was uncertain of all the details but thought that 3 individuals had been arrested and informed that both the Manchester Police Department & the Clay County Sheriff's Office had worked the incident.
At this time ClayCoNews has not confirmed the identities of anyone that may have been arrested.
