Anonymous Complaint leads Police back to Brushy Branch Road / Clay County

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that:  On March 20, 2019 at approximately 9:30 PM an anonymous tip came through the Clay County Sheriff Office Facebook page that lead Clay County Sheriff Deputy Cody Blackwell back to a residence on Brushy Branch Road.

Upon arrival at the residence, Deputy Blackwell along with Kentucky State Police Trooper Logan Wolfe came in contact with Clyde Frost age 50 of North Highway 11.

When they came in contact with the subject he was sitting in the driveway, upon running the subjects information through Clay County 911 it was confirmed he had three active warrants out for his arrest through Clay County District Court.

While being placed under arrest the above mentioned subject began to resist arrest, it resulted in a brief struggle with Deputy Blackwell and Trooper Wolfe.

Once the subject was in restraints, Deputy Blackwell located what is suspected to be Methamphetamine on the person of the subject.

The subject was placed in the cruiser without further incident.

Clyde Frost was charged with:

  • Serving Bench Warrant for Court
  • Serving Bench Warrant for Court
  • Serving Warrant of Arrest
  • Resisting Arrest
  • Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense
