Out of Control Subject complaint leads to arrests in Clay County

Clay County, Ky. -  Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that: On May 30, 2019 at approximately 2:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Tony Hinkle, 26 of North Highway 421.

The arrest occurred while investigating a complaint of an out of control male subject refusing to leave the property and trying to start an altercation with the homeowners. Deputy Houston made contact with the subject at Hot Rod’s Parking lot, through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence.

While on scene Deputy Houston came in contact with Ricky Williams, 27 of Arrowhead Court. The subject seemed to be unsteady on his feet, through investigation it was determined the subject was also under the influence of intoxicants. The subject admitted to having Suboxone and needles on his person that someone had gave him.

Tony Hinkle was charged with:

  • Criminal Trespassing, 3rd Degree
  • Disorderly Conduct, 2nd Degree
  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)

Ricky Williams was charged with:

  • Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
  • Possession of Controlled Substance
  • Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
