Three charged with arrest warrants in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY -  Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff’s Deputy Robert Reed along with Deputy Jake Miller and his K-9 “Gotcha”, Sgt. Jack Caudill, and Bailiff Jacklyn Johnson arrested three individuals off Rita Lane, approximately 8 miles South of London on Monday afternoon June 17, 2019 at approximately 3:04 PM.

The arrests occurred after these three individuals were found with outstanding bench warrants and were identified as:

Daniel Tatum age 34 of Rita Lane, Lily charged with:

  • A Laurel District Court warrant of arrest obtained by the Laurel County attorney charging flagrant nonsupport – Allegedly this individual owes arrearage in the amount of $7477.63.
  • A second Laurel District Court warrant of arrest charging flagrant nonsupport – Allegedly this individual owes arrearage in the amount of $3664.42.

Christopher Liford age 27 of Rita Lane, Lily charged with:

  • A Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Criminal trespassing – third-degree
  • Contempt of court
  • A Knox District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500
  • Public intoxication – controlled substances
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Wendy Blanton age 35 of Rita Lane, Lily charged with:

  • A Whitley Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of motion to revoke probation regarding a charge of possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Shock probation in felony convictions.

These three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
