Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel County Sheriff’s office along with the London office of the DEA, the London office of the US Marshal service, and Kentucky State Police arrested five individuals on Wednesday morning June 26, 2019 at approximately 7:45 AM.
The arrests occurred off KY 490 approximately 9 miles north of London after information was developed on the location of an individual being sought on a federal drug indictment warrant from U.S. District Court in London who was also a fugitive wanted for escape. That individual along with 4 others were located and arrested without incident and are identified as:
The individual being sought on the federal drug indictment warrant -Timmy L. Fields age 57 of East Bernstadt charged on:
- A federal indictment warrant charging possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. This individual had previously been charged in state court regarding an arrest off I-75 in northern Laurel County in April of this year after KSP found him with a large quantity of methamphetamine.
This individual had been placed on an ankle bracelet which he cut off.
The three other individuals arrested were identified as:
Todd McWhorter age 43 of Hwy 1376, East Bernstadt charged on:
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of resisting arrest; theft by unlawful taking under $500; criminal mischief – second-degree.
Angel Fay Taylor age 28 of Hodge Rd., London charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine – this subject was found in possession of a bag of suspected crystal methamphetamine
Brittany Noble age 28 of Blair Road, Tyner, Ky charged on:
- A Jackson Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging violation of probation regarding a charge of trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense; contempt of court.
James A. Fox age 44 of Ky 490, East Bernstadt charged on:
- A Jackson District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of Flagrant nonsupport.
- A Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence; operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license and other violations.
All five individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Corrections Center.
