Clay County, Ky. Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on July 11, 2019 at approximately 10:20 AM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones arrested Melissa Asher, 33 of Hima.
The arrest occurred when Chief Deputy Jones was dispatched to a complaint of an intoxicated female at the Horse Creek Scrapyard.
Upon arrival Chief Jones conducted an investigation at which time it was determined the subject was under the influence of intoxicants.
Through confirmation with Clay County Dispatch the individual also had a warrant of arrest.
Melissa Asher was charged with:
- Criminal Trespassing- 2nd Degree
- Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
- Serving Bench Warrant for Laurel County District Court
