Clay County, Ky. - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on August 7, 2019 at approximately 12:15 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Tommy Houston arrested Brian Roberts, 34 of London.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Houston initiated a traffic stop on an ATV on Highway 80, upon initial contact with the driver signs of impairment was shown.
Through further investigation Deputy Houston located a small plastic baggie of suspected methamphetamine on the person of the subject and determined the subject was under the influence of intoxicants.
Brian Roberts was charged with:
• Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alc/Drugs/ ETC. .08
• Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
• All-Terrain Vehicle Violations
