Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner along with Deputy Travis Napier arrested Gary A. Caldwell age 32 of Corbin on Monday afternoon August 12, 2019 at approximately 4:40 PM.
The arrest occurred off Kermit Jones Road, approximately 2 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint at a business parking lot there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that allegedly there had been a verbal argument there when this subject struck a female subject in the face with the back of his hand.
Gary A. Caldwell was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
