Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Gary Mehler with his K-9 ”Edge” along with Deputy Joey Robinson arrested Angela M. Collett age 38 of London early Wednesday morning August 28, 2019 at approximately 1:33 AM.
The arrest occurred off Barbourville Road, approximately 5 miles South of London after deputies responded to a disturbance complaint there.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that allegedly there had been a verbal disagreement there between two individuals.
The suspect then allegedly slapped the male subject several times and bit him on the right arm.
Angela Collett was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
