Laurel County, Ky. (September 14, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Gary Mehler along with Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Jake Miller, Deputy Travis Napier, Deputy Joey Robinson, and Deputy Allen Turner arrested Angus Brian Cottone age 27 of London on Friday night September 13, 2019 at approximately 8:36 PM.
The arrest occurred at Byrd Trailer Park approximately 3 miles north of London after deputies were called to Joseph Hospital ER in London to investigate a complaint of an assault.
Deputies learned that allegedly a female victim at the hospital had been assaulted by a male subject at Byrd Trailer Park.
Deputies traveled to that location and arrested the male subject without incident, lodging him in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
