MANCHESTER< KY (Sept. 29, 2019) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on September 29, 2019 at approximately 4:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Brandon Edwards arrested James Helton, 22 of North Highway 421.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Edwards received a complaint of a male subject at Beech Creek Apartments that was not aloud back on property.
Upon arrival contact was made with the individual, a strong odor of alcoholic beverage was emitting from the subject.
It was determined through investigation that the above mentioned individual was under the influence of alcohol and had been involved in a domestic dispute through witness statements.
James Helton was charged with:
- Alcohol Intoxication in Public place
- Assault 4th Degree (Domestic Violence) No Visible Injury
