Clay County, Ky. (October 16, 2019) - Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on October 15, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Detective Jeff Kelsey arrested Joshua Stapleton, 34 of Fox Hollow Road.
The arrest occurred when Detective Kelsey received a complaint of an assault at a residence on Fox Hollow Road.
Upon arrival, Det. Kelsey made contact with a female subject who had been assaulted. Through investigation it was determined the above mentioned subject and the female subject had been into a verbal altercation which turned into a physical altercation.
Clay County EMS transported the female victim to AdventHealth Manchester due to injuries sustained in the assault.
Joshua Stapleton was charged with:
• Assault, 2nd Degree- Domestic Violence
