MANCHESTER, KY (Tuesday, October 22, 2019) - The City Of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: At 12:16 AM on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 City Of Manchester Fire Department was dispatched by Clay County 911 to a structure fire on Coal Hollow Road.
Upon arrival units observed heavy fire & smoke emitting from the rear of the structure. Units forced entry into the residence conducting a primary & secondary search while extinguishing the fire.
Units then had to exit the structure abruptly due to the ceiling beginning to sag and fall in.
Units exited the structure and began defensive measures before extinguishing the fire.
It was determined that the structure was abandoned at the time of the fire.
Units then cleared the scene with no further incident.
