LONDON, KY (October 23, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Detective Bryon Lawson along with Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards arrested Eddie Farley age 66 of North Highway 1223, Corbin on Tuesday afternoon October 22, 2019 at approximately 3:29 PM.
The arrest occurred off KY 1223 approximately 5 miles South of London after deputies conducted a drug investigation there.
The Sheriff's office developed information on the possible transfer of a suspicious package from London to an out-of-state destination.
Following investigation, detectives determined that multiple Hydrocodone tablets were apparently being shipped to an individual in Detroit Michigan.
Eddie Farley was charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
