Laurel County, Ky. (November 9, 2019) - The Laurel County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner along with Sgt. Greg Poynter, Deputy Travis Napier, and Deputy Brent France arrested Jeffrey Callahan age 41 of East Bernstadt on Friday evening November 8, 2019 at approximately 5:35 PM.
The arrest occurred off Evans Lane, approximately 6 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that allegedly this individual had struck a female subject in the face with his fist.
Jeffrey Callahan was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
