Monticello, KY. (November 13, 2019) – On Tuesday November 11, 2019 at approximately 11:00 PM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London was contacted by Wayne County 911 requesting assistance at KY 1545 and KY 92 West, involving a shooting investigation at an apartment complex in Monticello.
Preliminary investigation indicates that:
Christopher Polston, age 30 of Monticello made entry in the apartment of his estranged child's mother, Mandy Kinnett, age 37 of Monticello. The bodies of Polston and Kinnett have been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy. The exact cause of death is pending. At this time there are no other suspects believed to be involved in the incident.
Kentucky State Police Detective Eric Moore is continuing the investigation. He was assisted by Troopers and Detectives from Post 11 London, Wayne County Sheriff's, Monticello PD Office, Wayne County EMS and Wayne County Coroner.
