Theft suspects located & arrested at the Clay County Detention Center

MANCHESTER, KY (November 22, 2019) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that: On November 21, 2019 at approximately 2:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson along with CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb arrested Shirley Williams, 42 and Amber Hubbard, 39 both of Manchester.

The arrests occurred when Sheriff Robinson was following up on a theft case involving a stolen debit card that was used around local businesses within the past week.

Through investigation and video surveillance, Sheriff Robinson identified both subjects.

Sheriff Robinson located the whereabouts of the two individuals, the male subject was currently at the Clay County Detention Center bonding out the female subject who was arrested on November 20, 2019.

Sheriff Robinson and Deputy Grubb arrested both subjects and escorted them back inside the Detention Center. 

Shirley Williams was charged with:

• Fraud use of Credit Card After Lost/Stolen $500 < $10,000 Within 6 Months

Amber Hubbard was charged with:

• Fraud use of Credit Card After Lost/Stolen $500 < $10,000 Within 6 Months
