Alleged Assault complaint leads to other charges for a Clay County man

MANCHESTER, KY (November 26, 2019) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on November 25, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Sgt. Jeremy Gabbard arrested G.H. Sizemore, 58 of Highway 149.

The arrest occurred when Sgt. Gabbard was dispatched to a complaint on Highway 149 of a possible intoxicated male subject who had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend.

Upon arrival, Sgt. Gabbard came into contact with the above mentioned subject who had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from the subject.

Through investigation, Sgt. Gabbard placed the above mentioned subject under arrest.

Once in the back seat of the patrol car, the above mentioned subject began to kick the cruiser’s door with intent to cause damage to the patrol car. 

G.H. Sizemore was charged with:

  • Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place 3rd or More Offense within 12 months
  • Menacing
