Laurel County, KY (December 15, 2019) - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Hunter Disney along with Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards arrested Brian Hart age 45 of Manchester on Friday afternoon December 13, 2019 at approximately 4:05 PM.
The arrest occurred off old KY 30 approximately 5 miles north of London while deputies were investigating a shoplifting complaint from Family Dollar located on Highway 30.
The suspect apparently left the scene before deputies arrival but was located in a vehicle shortly afterwards and found in possession of multiple containers of laundry detergent on his person.
Brian Hart was charged with:
- Theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting under $500
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
