Drug arrests at residence where 8-year-old lives

LONDON, KY (January 10, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root along with Maj. Chuck Johnson, Detective Sgt. Chris Edwards, Detective Bryon Lawson, Detective James Sizemore, Deputy Hunter Disney, Bailiff Daniel Reed and Bailiff Paige Vanhook arrested three individuals off Barbourville Road, approximately 8 miles southeast of London on Thursday afternoon January 9, 2020 at approximately 4:03 PM.

The arrests occurred while the Sheriff's office was investigating a drug complaint and located three individuals and found Xanax, Oxycodone, and a glass pipe.

In addition, an eight-year-old female child lives in the residence. Social services was called to the scene to take custody of the child.

The three arrested individuals were identified as:

Brenda Lee Taylor age 53 of Barbourville Rd., London charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
  • Possession of a controlled substance first-degree – first offense
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Wanton endangerment – second-degree

Anthony Taylor age 20 of Barbourville Rd., London charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Wanton endangerment – second-degree

Brian Williams age 52 of KY 1629, Corbin charged with:

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Laurel County Sheriff John root stated that drug investigations will be continuing.
