MANCHESTER, KY (February 04, 2020) - The City Of Manchester Fire Department is reporting that: At 2:20 AM on Tuesday February 04, 2020 one of their units was traveling home on US 421 South when he noticed heavy smoke around the area of Wade Hacker Road.
Upon further investigation it was determined that a structure was on fire in the attic space.
Once more personnel arrived Units made entry into the residence having to tear down most of the ceiling and execute vertical & horizontal ventilation.
Crews fought this fire for around 2 hours before finally getting it under control.
All units cleared the scene with no further incident.
