Woodbine, KY. (February 7,2020) – On February 7, 2020 at 12:47 a.m. Kentucky State Police, Post 10 Harlan received a call about an individual who left for work from the Woodbine community of Knox County and never made it to his location. Trooper Drew Wilson responded and began an investigation.
Preliminary investigation indicates Ronnie Bryant (74) of Woodbine left his residence on Rapier Hollow in Woodbine at 8:45 p.m. on February 6, 2020. Mr. Bryant is a night security guard who never made it to the mining site off of Ky 92 East in Whitley County. Mr. Bryant was supposed to be at work at 10:00 p.m. on February 6, 2020.
Kentucky State Police has attempted to locate Mr. Bryant. Due to the high water on the normal routes that Mr. Bryant travels, KSP hasn't been able to locate him. Troopers have attempted to locate him on other routes and have been unsuccessful as well.
Mr. Bryant is operating a 2012 silver Nissan Murano. He was last seen wearing a Storm Security shirt. He is 5'10" 240 pounds, hazel eyes, mustache, and gray hair. He is believed to be in the Whitley County area.
According to family members, Mr. Bryant is a diabetic with other health issues including heart medication.
KSP along with Whitley County Emergency Management is currently conducting a search at this time to locate Mr. Bryant. Anyone with any information is urged to contact your local law enforcement. Case is under investigation by Tpr. Drew Wilson. You can also contact Post 10 Harlan at 606-573-3131.
