LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Lieut. Chris Edwards arrested two individuals on Tuesday morning February 11, 2020 at approximately 11:32 AM.
The arrests occurred in London following an investigation into an early morning robbery of an individual which allegedly occurred off east KY 552 at Raymond and Keegan Smith’s residence approximately 6 miles South of London on Tuesday morning February 11, 2020 at approximately 6:36 AM.
Investigators report that allegedly the two arrested individuals held the victim at knife point taking money and a bottle of prescription pills from the victim.
The 21 year old male victim from Corbin ran from the residence as he was being chased by the suspects.
The two arrested individuals were identified as:
Keegan Smith age 21 of East Highway 552, Lily charged with:
- Robbery – first-degree
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Cocaine
Michael Webb age 22 of Aker Holt Rd., Corbin charged with:
- Robbery – first-degree
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

Following the continuing investigation, on Tuesday afternoon investigators from the Laurel County Sheriff's office executed a search warrant for drugs at the Raymond and Keegan Smith residence off East KY 552 and located:
- Methamphetamine
- Asuspected Cocaine/Fentanyl mix
- A handgun
- Alarge amount of US currency
- Approximately 2+ pounds of processed Marijuana
- Over 5 ounces of Marijuana wax
- 15 containers of Dabs

Sheriff John Root stated that the “War on Drugs” is continuing.
