Lawsuit alleging Sexual Abuse on a school campus in Clay County

MANCHESTER, KY (February 20, 2020) - A Carrollton, Kentucky law firm is reporting that: A Civil Action lawsuit has recently been filed in Clay County by a former student at Oneida Baptist Institute, alleging that he was sexually abused by an older Oneida student.

This alleged abuse occurred in September of 2019.

According to the James & Wells PSC firm, Kentucky State Police from Post 11 in London, Kentucky are investigating the matter and criminal charges against the alleged perpetrator are anticipated.

At the present time, it is unknown whether the alleged perpetrator in this lawsuit remains on campus. 

Earlier today ClayCoNews spoke with Attorney Ben Wyman who is representing the alleged victim.  He expressed concern that his client may not be the only victim of the alleged sexual abuse at OBI.
