MANCHESTER, KY- Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at approximately 8:30 AM Clay County Chief Deputy Clifton Jones along with CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb arrested Christopher Chapman, 28 of Manchester.
The arrest occurred when Chief Deputy Jones received a complaint of a suspicious male subject watching the homeowner through a window on South Highway 11.
Upon arrival, the above mentioned subject attempted to flee from police and hide.
Contact was made with the subject after he was located hiding behind a business and placed under arrest without further incident.
Upon search of the subject, Chief Deputy Jones located an uncapped syringe on the subject’s person.
Christopher Chapman was charged with:
• Criminal Trespassing
• Fleeing or Evading Police, on Foot 2nd Degree
• Menacing
• Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess
