MANCHESTER, KY - On Wednesday, February 26, 2020 the City Of Manchester Fire Department reported that: Today while at the station, 4 of our Firefighters had the privilege of working with and touring Mr. Bill Watkins who has special needs.
Bill is the brother of Kentucky State Representative Robert Goforth.
Mr. Watkins got a complete tour of our building and a very detailed view of the day in the life of a firefighter at the City Of Manchester Fire Department.
Our firefighters Brandon Adams, Ethan Ledford, Frank Hensley & John Root, absolutely had a blast with Mr. Watkins.
There is absolutely nothing more heartfelt than feeling like you’re making a difference in a community with such little time.
We hope Bill had as much fun today as we did getting to show him the life we choose to live every single day.
