MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at approximately 1:00 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Coty Arnold along with CSO Supervisor Dewey Grubb, Deputy Jared Smith and Deputy Paul Michael Whitehead arrested Desmond Thompson, 43 of Morning Glory Road.
The arrest occurred when Deputies were dispatched to a complaint on Morning Glory Road of a possible domestic altercation.
Upon arrival, Deputies noted coming into contact with the subject. Through investigation it was determined the subject was under the influence.
The subject admitted to Deputies taking controlled substances earlier this date.
Desmond Thompson was charged with:
• Public Intoxication of Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
