LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner arrested Cage R. Doan age 27 of Cloud Subdivision Rd., London on Sunday afternoon March 1, 2020 at approximately 2:40 PM.
The arrest occurred at a business approximately 2 miles north of London off North Laurel Rd., after Deputy Turner observed an apparent drug transaction there.
Upon confronting the suspect, the suspect ran into the store and as Deputy Turner chased the suspect, individuals there in the store advised the suspect was armed.
When Deputy Turner located the suspect and disarmed him, the suspect was found in possession of Methamphetamine that the suspect stated he had just purchased.
Cage R. Doan was charged with:
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot
- Resisting arrest
This individual t was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
