LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler along with Sgt. John Inman arrested Jeffrey William Bottorf age 50 of London early Thursday morning March 12, 2020 at approximately 1:58 AM.
The arrest occurred off Cumberland Way, approximately 3 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a physical dispute between this individual and his wife there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that there had allegedly been an argument between the two after which allegedly the male subject had punched the female victim with the heel of his hand on her forehead causing her to fall to the floor. Deputies noted visible injuries to the female subject.
Upon arrest the male subject struggled with deputies briefly before being taken into custody.
Jeffrey Bottorf was charged with:
- Assault – 4th degree – domestic violence
- Resisting arrest
- Alcohol intoxication
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
