LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Sgt. John Inman arrested Christine T. Wagers age 25 on Wednesday night March 25, 2020 at approximately 10:55 PM.
The arrest occurred at the south Laurel County Walmart property outside, 10 miles South of London after Sgt. Inman was dispatched to a disturbance complaint there.
Upon arrival at the scene Sgt. Inman located the suspect and conducted an investigation determining that she was under the influence. In addition, the subject had two outstanding bench warrants.
Christine Wagers was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel Circuit Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on charges of theft by unlawful taking – auto – $10,000 or more but under $1 million
In addition, the subject was charged on a Laurel District Court bench warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to appear in court on charges of public intoxication – controlled substances
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
