LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Gary Mehler along with Deputy Daniel Reed and Deputy Travis Napier arrested two individuals on Thursday night March 26, 2020 at approximately 9:40 PM.
The arrests occurred in a business parking lot off US 25 approximately 5 miles South of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of two subjects apparently passed out in a vehicle there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies located two individuals passed out in a vehicle.
The two occupants were determined to be under the influence. The two individuals arrested were identified as:
Royal B. Farmer age 33 of London charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
Shaleena Balusik age 29 of London charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
