MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that on April 3, 2020 at approximately 3:00 AM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Wes Brumley along with Deputy Kendric Smith arrested Marshall Hubbard, 27 and Bruce Hubbard, 47 both of Beech Creek Road.
The arrest occurred when Deputy Brumley conducted a traffic stop for vehicle infractions on Rawlings Road.
Upon contact with the driver, Deputy Brumley noted the driver showed signs of impairment. Through investigation It was determined the subject was under the influence. He admitted to smoking marijuana and consuming alcoholic beverages before operating the motor vehicle.
The passenger of the vehicle had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from the subject.
During the search, Deputy Brumley located a baggie containing what is suspected to be Methamphetamine.
Bruce Hubbard was charged with:
• Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alc/DRUGS/ETC.
• Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)
• Failure to Or Improper Signal
• No Registration Plates
• No Registration Receipt
• Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance
Marshall Hubbard was charged with:
• Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place
