LONDON, KY (May 3, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Josh Morgan along with Deputy Brent France arrested Woody P. Asher age 34 of Cloud Subdivision, London on Sunday morning May 3, 2020 at approximately 9:40 AM.
The arrest occurred off Cloud Subdivision Road, approximately 6 miles west of London after deputies charged Woody Asher on a warrant of arrest obtained by Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Daniel Reed regarding an investigation he conducted after a female subject and two children were found with injuries.
Woody Asher was charged with:
- Two counts of strangulation – first-degree
- Assault – 4th degree – child abuse
- Assault – 4th degree – domestic violence
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
