LONDON, KY (May 11, 2020) - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Lieut. Chris Edwards arrested three individuals on Friday afternoon May 8, 2020 at approximately 1:04 PM.
The arrests occurred in London following an investigation conducted by the Laurel County Sheriff's office into an early morning (4:34 A.M.) attempt to rob a home owner of money and possible illegal narcotics off Upper Indian Camp Road, approximately 10 miles South of London in the Keavy area of Laurel County.
A fourth individual who is also a suspect was shot by the home owner during the alleged robbery attempt and is at UK Medical Center for treatment of gunshot wounds. Warrants are being obtained for the fourth suspect.
The three arrested individuals were identified as:
Nathan M. Myers age 20 of Chera-Lyn Lane, London charged with:
- Robbery first-degree
Logan Simpson age 19 of Jack Moses Road, Williamsburg charged with:
- Robbery – first-degree – This individual allegedly acted as a driver for other individuals involved
Andrew D. Myers age 23 of Chera–Lyn Lane, London charged with:
- Robbery – first-degree – This individual allegedly acted as a lookout for other individuals
Warrants are being obtained for a fourth suspect who is at a Lexington hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.
All three accused suspects were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
