LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root along with Maj. Chuck Johnson, Capt. Robbie Grimes, Lieut. Chris Edwards, Detective James Sizemore, and Detective Bryon Lawson investigated a drug trafficking complaint on Lonely Pines Road, approximately 12 miles north of London on Thursday afternoon May 28, 2020 at approximately 1:06 PM.
During the investigation Sheriff's investigators found:
- Methamphetamine
- Digital scales
- Marijuana
- US currency
- A handgun
Robert Earl Mason age 55 of Lonely Pines Rd., East Bernstadt was arrested, and charged with:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Possession of Marijuana
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
