McKee, KY. (July 13, 2020) – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post was contacted by Jackson County 911 on Friday, July 11, 2020 just after 1:00 am, in reference to a shooting that occurred at a residence on Drip Rock Holiness Church Rd in McKee.
KSP Post 7 Detectives responded to the scene and discovered a man and woman who had been fatally shot. The initial investigation indicates, there were not any other individuals involved and KSP is not searching for any suspects.
Roger and Rhonda Harvey, both 38 years old of McKee, KY were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Jackson County Coroner. Their bodies were taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort for autopsies.
The ongoing investigation is being conducted by KSP Post 7 Detective Rob Morris. He was assisted on scene by KSP personnel, Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Jackson County Coroner's Office.
