MANCHESTER, KY (August 4, 2020) - A pedestrian was hit and killed Monday night August 3, 2020 in Manchester.
ClayCoNews has learned that the victim is identified Julie (Jarvis) Hill age 42 formerly of Curry Branch Road. The accident happened at approximately 9:30 PM Monday night when the victim was hit by a westbound pickup truck on the 4 lane section of Highway 80 in front the CMR gas station.
Funeral arrangements being handled by Rominger Funeral Home and are incomplete at this time.

According to Clay County Coroner Jarrod Becknell, Julia Jarvis of Manchester apparently walked out in front of a vehicle near the CMR gas station.
She was transported to the AdventHealth emergency room where she was pronounced deceased by Clay County Deputy Coroner John Dunzweiler.

The Manchester Police Department is investigating.
