The Clay County Sheriff's office would neither confirm nor deny that this individual is the subject of their investigation.
MANCHESTER, KY (September 7, 2020) - Clay County Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting that the Clay County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation of a fatality shooting that occurred at the junction of Highway 149 and South Highway 421. Further details will be released later on.
ClayCoNews contacted the Clay County Sheriff's office regarding the incident and was told that at this time the investigation is still being conducted and no further details can be released at present.
However, according to jail records, on Monday afternoon September 7, 2020 Terry Wagers (pictured) age 41 of Manchester, Ky. was booked into the Clay County Detention Center at 3:07 PM charged with:
- Murder
C. Jones from the Clay County Sheriff's office is listed as the arresting officer.
The Clay County Sheriff's office would neither confirm nor deny that the above mentioned Terry Wagers is the subject of their investigation.
The Manchester Enterprise is reporting that the victim is identified as Johnny Lynn Curry, of Manchester.
