MANCHESTER, KY (September 8, 2020) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office is reporting that:On September 7, 2020 at approximately 1:30 PM Clay County Sheriff Deputy Paul Whitehead arrested Terry Wagers, 41 of Rocky Branch Road.
The arrest occurred after Chief Deputy Jones and other units was dispatched to a complaint of a possible shooting incident that occurred at the junction of Highway 149 and South Highway 421 but was later notified that the above mentioned subject had driven himself to Clay County Dispatch to turn himself him.
The above mentioned subject was placed under arrest without incident.
The victim of the shooting incident was determined to be Johnny Lynn Curry, 37 of Crawfish Road.
Terry Wagers was charged with:
- Murder
